When I first started, I didn’t know what my niche was.

I knew that in order to find my audience I first needed to understand what I wrote about. I knew how to garden, make soap, blog, and more but I didn’t know how to focus my blog on a few things or how I wanted to teach those things.

I learned that by uncovering why I do all those things, I discovered the purpose of my blog and found my niche.

Why is it Important to You? Why do you do what you do?

I learned that the reason I have so many skills is because I value self-sufficiency. I learned to make soap, butters, and more because of it. Everything that I know now and will learn later is because of that.

So, my focus is on offering simple strategies and quality homemade products to help you thrive even if the world falls apart.

I know that I will use gardening and preserving, business, and life to do that because those are the skills I have learned and that are important to me.
