How to Make Chicken Broth Using Rotisserie Chicken

You don’t need a farm or fancy ingredients to make homemade foods!

We use Rotisserie chicken for many things in my home when I thought, why not use it to make Chicken broth?

Once we used the meat for various recipes (Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Caesar Wraps, and Salad) I froze the carcasses for later.

When I was ready, I took them out of the freezer, placed it in the crockpot with frozen onion and peels, dehydrated vegetables, and celery onion powder.

I dehydrated the corn, onion, green beans, carrots, and broccoli using canned and frozen vegetables.

I saved the scraps from the onions I chopped from other meals by putting them in the refrigerator. This gives the broth a beautiful brown color.

The chicken I used has some seasoning on it and a bit of broth left (see the gelatinous thing?) which will add to the flavor.

I then pressure can the broth for future recipes.

This is how it turned out!
